Linux — First go.

Today, I installed Linux, which is really quite classy… apart from the fact I don’t have a clue how to use it. Redhat 6.0, kernel version 2.2.5. I have it dual booting with my old Windows system, and I can happily say that Linux (in particular, KDE) feels a lot nicer.

I am starting to get to grips with how it all works — the difficult being that I don’t understand the directory structure, where things go when they’re decompressed, etc. But it’s fun, and now I know what it feels like to be a beginner again…
