Another member of the Pink Floyd family gone. Rick Wright passed away September 15th.

Entirely out-of-the-blue, the headline popped up that Rick had died from cancer. I certainly had no idea.

I assume that it came as a surprise to all, including Rick, if he was touring two years ago (when I saw him play twice). A shame.
